Anthony Behan

Anthony Behan is an industry recognised innovator and evangelist for the power of data and AI in telecommunications, media and entertainment. He has founded, built and sold businesses in software and services, and collaborated with telecommunications companies all over the world on new business innovation in enterprise, data monetization and digital services. Having started his career in telecommunications billing systems, Anthony subsequently designed solutions in policy and charging, network performance management, service assurance, care, commerce and marketing automation. Throughout his career, he has been a champion for the transformational power of data, from API development in the early 2000s, to IoT and AI in recent years at IBM, where he was a member of the IBM Industry Academy. Anthony is the Managing Director for Communications, Media and Entertainment at Cloudera. He speaks at conferences around the world on subjects as varied as sociologies of technology, data ethics and privacy, and digital advertising and data monetization. Anthony holds a BA in English and Legal Science, a HDip in Business Systems Analysis, an LLM in International Law from the National University of Ireland, and an MSc in Government from University College Cork.
